Rachel Stiff is a mixed media painter with an addiction to physical labor and an obsession with process. Growing up in a small ranching community in Central Montana, Rachel is strongly influenced by open spaces. Her large-scale paintings reflect the beauty found in growth and decay. She has recently relocated to the high desert, her work was included in Tilting the Basin at the Nevada Museum of Art. This is her first solo exhibition in Northern Nevada.
