DESCRIPTION:Arts Engagement Program in partnership with Carson City Arts & Culture \nFamily Art Saturdays • February 8th (10:00am-12:00pm)\nArt Activity Topic:  Pop Art & Andy Warhol\nPop Art is an art movement drawing inspiration from sources in popular and commercial culture. \nAndy Warhol was a leading figure in the 1060s Pop Art movement and a highly influential American artist. His work explored the relationship between advertising\, celebrity culture\, and artistic expression. \nChildren of all ages and their families are invited to explore a variety of hands-on visual art projects that engage and educate. Second and Fourth Saturday of each month 10am-noon.  All ages welcome; children under 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult. \nRegistration through Carson City Arts & Culture • $10 or $8/each for groups of 3 or more that register together.
