DESCRIPTION:Brush & Brews • Thursday\, May 17th\, 2025 Join us at The Depot Craft Brewery & Distillery in the brewery district Reno on July 17 at 6 p.m. for Brush & Brew\, a thrilling live art competition where local artists go head-to-head\, racing against the clock to transform a surprise theme into a unique work of art—all in just 20 minutes. This event is more than just an exciting competition—it’s an opportunity to celebrate and support the local arts and craft beer industries\, both of which play a vital role in Nevada’s economy and cultural identity. Did you know? Recent studies show that Nevada’s Arts & Culture sector contributes more to the state’s economy than mining\, agriculture\, and forestry. Reno-Sparks is home to an incredible creative community\, and by attending Brush & Brew\, you’ll help artists continue creating while supporting craft brewers who bring people together through their passion.   How It Works: \n\nTwelve artists compete in three rounds of live painting\, with each round featuring a brand-new surprise theme.\nAttendees vote after each round\, with the top two finalists facing off in an epic final showdown.\nThe grand prize? Bragging rights\, a championship belt\, and a special prize from Sierra Arts!\n\nYour Ticket Includes: \n\nEntry to the event\nOne craft beer from The Depot\nThe power to vote and help crown the winner!\n\nBeyond the competition\, the Nevada Department of Agriculture will be on hand to share details about the 2025 Craft Brew Passport\, a guide to Nevada’s craft beverage scene.
