DESCRIPTION:BOOK LAUNCH EVENT\nThursday\, May 14 • 6:00–7:30 PM\nSierra Arts Depot Gallery & Bookstore\n813 Victorian Ave • Sparks\, Nevada \nBest of California State Parks – Top 50 Parks in the Golden State \nby Kayla Anderson \nJoin us for a special Thursday evening book launch celebrating the release of Best of California State Parks and author Kayla Anderson. \nBest of California State Parks reveals fun roundups of the best parks for wildlife\, history\, family travel\, and more\, plus detailed hike descriptions marked with distance\, duration\, effort level\, and trailheads—so park visitors can hit the trails with confidence. \nKayla Anderson is a freelance writer based in Northern California. She grew up in Redding\, graduated with a degree in journalism from California State University-Chico\, and now lives in North Lake Tahoe. For the last 20 years\, she has been writing about people\, places\, and products all around the Golden State and beyond. \nShe regularly contributes to Enjoy Northern California Living magazine\, Sierra Nevada Ally\, Tahoe Quarterly\, and Tahoe magazine; and is continually impressed by what she discovers in the places she loves.
