DESCRIPTION:Community of Writers\, Poets\, Illustrators\, Readers\, and Literary Enthusiasts. \nJoin us on Sunday\, May 3rd for the Sierra Arts Literary Community \nTopic:  Marketing Basics & Table Staging \nGuest host and moderator: Julie Parrish \nJoin artist and creative entrepreneur Julie Parrish for Marketing Basics & Table Staging\, a hands-on talk about the art of showing up well at in-person events. Drawing from real experience\, Julie will cover table setup\, display sourcing\, smart packing for out-of-town shows\, indoor vs. outdoor considerations\, and practical do’s and don’ts for event success. She’ll also share tips on understanding your audience and managing setup and breakdown with less stress. As a bonus\, attendees can explore a grab bag of display items and tools she’s used along the way. \nJulie Parrish is a medical illustrator turned educator\, technologist\, and founder of the creative planning & accessory brand Monday Anyway\, designed to help people turn intentions into action. She holds a graduate degree in biomedical illustration and has published work as both an author and illustrator in medical journals and books.
