DESCRIPTION:Community of Writers\, Poets\, Illustrators\, Readers\, and Literary Enthusiasts. \nPlease join us for a special SALC Thanksgiving Potluck Celebration! \nIMPORTANT DATE & TIME CHANGE: November 8th | 4:00-5:30 \nAs the holiday season approaches\, we would like to take a moment to celebrate something truly special… the wonderful literary community that SALC members have built together over the past few years! Through your shared passion for the written word\, encouragement of one another\, and continued participation\, you have created a welcoming\, supportive\, and inspiring community of literary artists. \nWith November being a time of gratitude and giving thanks\, we thought this would be the perfect opportunity to come together\, share a delicious meal\, enjoy some literary fun\, and celebrate the friendships and connections that make SALC so special. \nDue to the Nevada holiday weekend\, our November meeting has been moved from the first Sunday to the second Sunday of the month. We have also adjusted the meeting time for this special gathering. \nA Celebration of Food\, Friendship & the Written Word! \nWe invite everyone to bring a favorite hot dish or dessert to share as we gather around the table in the spirit of friendship and gratitude. Sierra Arts will provide the table settings\, beverages\, and bread and butter. \nIn addition to enjoying wonderful food and conversation\, we have a fun literary activity planned that will give everyone an opportunity to reflect on what they are thankful for as literary artists and celebrate the creativity that brings us together. \nPotluck Sign-Up Form: Please use the online form to sign up to bring a hot dish or dessert to the celebration. \nWe are truly grateful for each of you and the creativity\, generosity\, and enthusiasm you bring to the Sierra Arts Literary Community.
