Description:
It is amazing what you can create with a simple jewelers saw and a piece of sheet metal. In this workshop you will learn to create your very own Sterling Silver Nevada Pendant or Ring.
The jeweler’s saw is one of the most important tools for jewelry making. It is amazing what you can create with a simple jewelers saw and a piece of sheet metal. In this class you will learn how to properly thread your saw blades and how to effectively cut metal to create uniquely shaped components for your jewelry designs such as the state of Nevada or shape of your choice. We will also go over files and sand paper to polish out the rough edges and different tools to create holes in our pieces to suspend from a necklace, bracelet or earrings. We will also solder a bezel if you choose to onto your piece and set a gemstone.
