Illustrating Your Worth: Framing Your Work with Words that Resonate

As artists, your heart and soul is poured into your respective craft. But there are a few things you’ll need in place in order to help tee up new audiences to your creations. Whether you’re writing the next-great American novel, etching out a gorgeous charcoal landscape or orchestrating a chart-topping album, putting in place a few critical marketing assets in the right way will help minimize the work of selling yourself or your art.

In this session attendees will learn:

  • persuasive building blocks of content artists should have in place prior to marketing
  • how to incorporate verbiage that resonates with new audiences or paying audiences
  • must-have elements to include that will endear readers, no matter where content lives

Note: Artists can attend this professional development workshop in person or virtually.

Instructor Rachel Gattuso, APR, is the founder and president of the Gattuso Coalition, wherein persuasion is a key element. Gattuso is accomplished and understanding how to motivate individuals to act and what verbiage can resonate with respective audiences.

Rachel has spoken to several organizations and groups and multiple boards of trustees re: efficient public relations strategies and nonprofit promotions. She has penned multiple public pieces re: the need for improved efficiencies in giving strategies, board engagement and donor considerations on behalf of nonprofits. She tries to be a passionate and vocal advocate for nonprofits in the area, in particular regarding the need for donors to drop their outdated beliefs around overhead expenses, and works to speak for those nonprofit workers who cannot risk disenfranchising donors from within their respective organizations.
