Join Sierra Arts Foundation’s member artist community for practical career support, exhibition opportunities, educational programs, and new ways of connecting to fellow artists and arts audiences.
Artist Memberships are $35 per year and open to all artists living and working within 200 miles of Reno, Nevada. Reduced membership pricing is available for students (high school and undergrad) and seniors (65+) for only $25 per year.

As an artist member, you’ll be invited to participate in our members-only group exhibitions. We host several members-only exhibits a year at our Main Gallery in downtown Reno.
- Member spotlights on our social media accounts. We want to help you reach new audiences on social media. As an artist member, we’ll highlight the passion you pour into your creations on our growing social media accounts throughout the year.
- 70% commission on art sales from our gallery, online shop, or community art events
We want to help you sell your work! As an artist member, you can list your artwork for sale on our website and participate in art sales promoted to the community. - Inclusion in calls-to-artists
Sierra Arts Foundation is connected with multiple entities and you will be the first to know about local and regional calls-to-artists, helping you secure more paying work.

Our organization will occasionally make training and educational resources available to member artists to boost your profitability, advance your skill or enhance your ability to navigate the complexities of today’s art world. - Invitations to members-only events throughout the year
- Fiscal Agent Services
Not all artists or art organizations are in a position to onboard finances in an advantageous way. As a 501(c)(3) organization, Sierra Arts Foundation can often act as a fiscal agent, lending a financial umbrella to those artists or entities who qualify for this type of need.
We work daily to provide support for you: the artists who so diligently color, entertain and create all things worth celebrating. Those who join as member artists will have the efforts of a devoted and knowledgeable staff behind them.
