Call to Artists! BLACK & WHITE July Members Show

Black and White July Member Show
(Yes! A bit of color as an accent is OK!)

Black and white art often consists of only highlights, shadows, and shades of gray. By not using color, compositions can be seen more readily because structure and spatial relationships take precedence. Similarly, shapes, lines, textures, and contrast in black and white are prominent. All media will be accepted. Stretch your imagination and have fun!

DEADLINE to Submit: June 15, 2023
DROP OFF: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, June 20 – 23 from 10-4 pm
and Saturday, June 24, 12-3 pm
RECEPTION: Saturday, July 15 from 12-4 pm
PICK UP: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, July 19 – 21 from 10-4 pm
and Saturday, July 22, 12-3 pm

Submit 3 images for consideration. Number of images accepted will be based on total number of entries so everyone can have at least one image in the exhibit. We try to show all 3 if possible.

• Each photo should be labeled Artist Name/Title of Work
• List of Images submitted as Word doc – Artist Name/Title of Work/Medium/PRICE
(this will be copied and pasted for labels so be accurate)
• Accepted work must be LABELED on back: Artist Name/Title of Work/Medium/PRICE, and wired to hang.
