Jacci Turner is the author of thirteen indie books for middle grade children and young adults. She also has a book published by Harper Collins for grownups and has recently published her first non-fiction book. Jacci teaches writing classes through her local community college, her three writing groups, and with grants from the Nevada Arts Council, and Sierra Arts Foundation, where she is on the artist’s rosters. Jacci’s middle grade fiction, Bending Willow, was chosen by librarians to represent Nevada at the National Book Festival. Several of her books have been finalists in the Wishing Shelf Book awards. Jacci is a retired therapist, enjoying more time to run a non-profit and write. She and her husband have lived in Reno for 38 years and are glad to have their children and grandchildren nearby. They love hiking in Nevada’s high desert with their dog Rosie.
