The Youth Art Fundamental Series is designed for young artists between the ages of 7 and 12 who are eager to further develop their artistic skills. The series focuses on the fundamentals of design and art making.
Each class is dedicated to a specific art element, design principle, art medium, and technical application.
Saturday, May 20 • Perspective Drawing Techniques
Perspective drawing is a technique used in art and design to represent three-dimensional images on a two-dimensional plane. Perspective drawing is one of the fundamentals that one needs to understand in order to create a realistic and believable composition. In this class, participants will be introduced to various methods of constructing a drawing with linear perspective techniques. Participants will learn how to create two and three dimensional drawings.
In 1987 Sierra Arts Foundation began awarding grants to artists of all disciplines living within a 100-mile radius.
