Art Activity Topic: Pop Art & Andy Warhol
Pop Art is an art movement drawing inspiration from sources in popular and commercial culture.
Andy Warhol was a leading figure in the 1060s Pop Art movement and a highly influential American artist. His work explored the relationship between advertising, celebrity culture, and artistic expression.
Children of all ages and their families are invited to explore a variety of hands-on visual art projects that engage and educate. Second and Fourth Saturday of each month 10am-noon. All ages welcome; children under 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult.
Registration through Carson City Arts & Culture • $10 or $8/each for groups of 3 or more that register together. Kids 5 and under free.
