Currently, she is captivated by the fusion of assemblage art and the ancientpractice of mandala making. Each time Sharon approaches a blank canvas, sheembraces the unknown, allowing her pieces to come to life through intuition andemotion.With years of experience teaching high school, Sharon finds that her connection tocreativity has been vital in maintaining her balance and sanity. A pivotal moment in herartistic development came from a single assemblage class with the late Richard AllenWells, who inspired her to transition from two-dimensional to three-dimensional work.This transformative experience ignited her current obsession with mandalas and thestudy of sacred geometry, drawing from ancient interpretations to uncover hiddenwisdom.Originally from Bakersfield, CA, she moved to Reno, NV in 1968 where she attended HugHigh School. Sharon’s life journey has taken her across the United States, enriching herexperiences and perspectives.
