Fernley Murals, Music & Margaritas Festival
Sierra Arts Foundation and the City of Fernley are throwing a three-day festival featuring local, national and international mural artists, musicians and margaritas! More than 20 walls throughout the City. This inaugural event will bring beautiful art to public places. DSNNN UnchARTed Waters
In its 4th year UnchARTed Waters features art created by individuals with Down syndrome and their families. Art includes sculpture, printmaking, multimedia and a variety of painted pieces. The art is collaboratively designed over the course of a four day art lab in the spring. Art is for sale in gallery and during an online auction, June 3-5. All proceeds support this project and the Down syndrome Network of Northern Nevada.

Cold Wax & Oil Painting with Tracy Vinzant
In this four hour workshop, participants will learn seven basic techniques of cold wax and oil paint composition. Instructor, Tracy Vinzant will also guide participants in selecting different color palettes and mixing with cold wax. Participants will complete 16 small paintings during the workshop. Watercolor Portraiture with James Gayles
In this two-day workshop with award winning artist James Gayles. Participants will learn to render the human head in watercolor. Jewelry Stamping with Mandi Wirtanen
Jewelry Stamping is a super fun way to make meaningful and personalized gifts and keepsakes. You will learn the basics of stamping on metal and bending/shaping the metal for a ring or bracelet cuff. Stackable Rings with Mandi Wirtanen
In this introductory class participants will practice basic soldering techniques with a torch, use a variety of textures and learn how to set a small stone into a pre-made bezel setting. You will make several rings to either stack together or to be worn alone. Tools will be provided for use in class. All levels are welcome, and no metalworking experience is required.
