Darabello is a duo project based in Reno, NV featuring Joseph Tatum on cello with loop pedal, and Ethan Gray, percussion. Influenced by a variety of styles, Darabello performs a high-powered set of original composition that displays many creative and innovative new sounds and techniques for their respective instruments. After meeting for the first time in June 2016, Ethan and Joseph quickly realized the potential for Darabello to enter the music scene. The following year, Darabello was invited to perform a collaborative TEDx talk with dancer Alex Kaskie in Carson City, NV. Since then, the band has maintained an active interest in releasing fresh content, the most noteworthy being their Minute Song Monday series on Instagram. Current projects for Darabello include collaboration with the Reno Tango Collective, as well as finalizing work on their debut album “Stone Tangled Ivy,” set to release in April 2019.
