My interest in humanity, the earth, and our environment is often the focus of the medium I use to express what I create into a magical reality. If I can express the humor, beauty, or intensity of a situation of place, person or animal I feel I have succeeded. Recently my work has focused on Nevada history in the paintings of Therese Laxalt and Alida JoAnn Nevers for the Carson City Historical Society and on Nevada's environmental present and future water usage.
