Topic: Critique Writing Groups
SALC is hosting an engaging panel of writers with diverse experiences and perspectives on critique groups and their impact on the writing life. From discovering the benefits of joining a group to finding the perfect match for your writing style, our panelists will share practical advice and real-world insights. The discussion will also cover how to start and successfully run a critique group, as well as how to know when it’s time to move on. Whether you’re curious, committed, or somewhere in between, this lively conversation is designed to inform, inspire, and empower writers at every stage. *In anticipation of a lively discussion, we have extended the meeting an additional 30 minutes.

Sierra Arts Literary Community (SALC) is a group dedicated to local writers, aspiring writers, poets, illustrators, readers, and literary enthusiasts. Sierra Arts Foundation has created a dedicated space in the Depot Gallery for literary artists and literary groups within the region to meet, perform readings, offer writing workshops, and sell their published books.
The SALC meeting is from 2:00pm to 4:00pm* at the Sierra Arts Gallery in downtown Reno – 17 S. Virginia Street, Reno. EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
