Sofia is a local artist and UNR graduate with a degree in Art History. Sofia’s interest in art was fostered with the help and instruction of her grade school teacher, Mrs. Loftin. In additions to working for Sierra Arts as a resident teaching-artist in elementary classrooms, Sofia spends her time making art, hiking outdoors and enjoying the beauty of the Tahoe-Basin.
