Touch of Paisley-1
by Jade Griffin
Join us for a special Sunday afternoon book launch celebrating Touch of Paisley-1, the newest novel by local author Jade Griffin.
Journey into the lives of the men and women of the Paisley Foundation – an organization devoted to guarding and deciphering mythos mysteries and beings of all types. Situated amid bustling 1900s Chicago, their lives and jobs are woven into the fabric of the city, its everyday people, and the cosmic forces shaping it all.
Jade Griffin is a character-driven creative firestorm. She writes sci-fi and fantasy, but the discovery of Call of Cthulhu © Chaosium lit her imagination down a darker path of Lovecraftian horror. After running and publishing her Call of Cthulhu tabletop roleplaying adventures, the NPCs (non-playable characters) do not stop talking once everyone leaves the table, so she writes and publishes her NPC horror adventure series starting with “The Journals of Lacy Anderson Moore: Monster Hunter of the 1800s”. And, because everything is connected, look for nods and Easter eggs in all of her publications.
The event will be held in the Sierra Arts Gallery in the historic Riverside Building in downtown Reno.
Refreshments will be served.
Free and open to the public.
Free parking available on Sundays.
