Sierra Arts Literary Community Meeting • Sunday, January 5th
January 5 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Community of Writers, Poets, Illustrators, Readers, and Literary Enthusiasts.
Join us on Sunday, January 5th for the Sierra Arts Literary Community Holiday
Gathering.
Guest Host: Jade Griffin
Activity: As writers and artists, inspiration comes from many sources. All of our senses help us experience and translate the world around us and our minds filter it into words and images. Join us on January 5th for a senses experience meant to awaken memories and inspire. There will be items to smell, taste, hear, or touch so bring your media of choice (pencil, paper, laptop, paintbrush, canvas) and a mind ready to venture back. Your next great novel, short story, or artistic piece may be only a taste away.
Sierra Arts Literary Community (SALC) is a group dedicated to local writers, aspiring writers, poets, illustrators, readers, and literary enthusiasts. Sierra Arts Foundation has created a dedicated space in the Depot Gallery for literary artists and literary groups within the region to meet, perform readings, offer writing workshops, and sell their published books.
The SALC meeting is Sunday, January 5th from 2:00pm to 3:30pm at the Sierra Arts Gallery in downtown Reno – 17 S. Virginia Street, Reno. EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
