2023 Call to Artists! Riverside Gallery! Deadline extended!
Sierra Arts is currently accepting artist exhibition proposals for the galleries located at 17 S. Virginia Street; Main Gallery and the ANNEX. We have divided the gallery into several spaces in order to feature more artists every month. SUBMISSIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR BOTH GALLERIES. Monthly receptions will be either the third Thursday or Saturday of the month. DEADLINE is APRIL 15th, 2022. Sierra Arts will review proposals for exhibitions. April Gratrix “Topographic Impressions: A Delineation of Western Landscapes”
March 1st thru 28th 2022 Reception: Saturday, March 5th, 5 to 7 pm Recalling trips to Yellowstone, The Grand Tetons, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, and the Emigrant Wilderness, I’ve created a series of work that is reminiscent of wood block prints, in that it relies heavily on bold lines and patterns to create texture, form and space.
