Erika Paul - San-Francisco born, international sensation and local treasure Erika Paul, in both Northern Nevada and Roseville California, on keyboards and vocals, is a career music performer and private music instructor in jazz and most recently a recipient of the 2018 Nevada Arts Council Jackpot award to present her “Faking it with Style & Smarts” improvisation presentation and demonstration at the 2018 Nevada Music Teachers Association annual conference in Las Vegas in June 2018. With music and jazz degrees from College of San Mateo and San Jose State University, she released her 14th and most recent 2018 international cd release, “The French Concert - Live in Bordeaux” and her latest 2017 U.S. cd release "SWAY - A Tribute to American Latin Jazz" are now available on CD Baby and iTunes. Erika is a versatile, unique artist that is at at home with any style of jazz, vocal and instrumental, as a soloist, in small musical ensembles as well as in large 17-18 piece ensembles. Erika excels in small group jazz with her duo, trio and quartet and performs classic songs from the American Songbook, jazz standards, early jazz sing-a-longs as well as her own originals. Over the last 15 years, Erika performs regularly at the Wild River Grille, Chez Louie’s Sunday Jazz Brunch and weekly at the Polo Lounge and gives international concerts in Europe, including annual summer concerts in France and continues to write music in her spare time.
