John aka The Piano Man is a classically trained pianist. He received his first piano lesson from his Dad when he was 8 years old, and he was a volunteer church pianist at the age of 12. John has been providing background piano music for over 4 decades for community/social functions that includes music for birthdays, business and corporate meetings, private parties, church worship services, weddings and the Holiday and Christmas season. Currently, he is involved in community events interacting with a diverse clientele in the Reno/Sparks area. He also volunteers his time playing music for Nursing Homes and Retirement Communities in the local area. Additionally, John is a member of the Healing Arts Program at Renown Hospital providing patients and visitors a variety of selections from the Classical Masters to Show Tunes.
